October 2005, HR Imaging Partners - Chicago Illinois. Jane consulted in developing standards and systems of moving custom artwork through the school division of their lab.
September 2003, JD Color Lab, Flint Michigan. Facilitated in house digital training of artists, produced a library of retouching brushes to improve quality and speed of artists, produced a series of actions to expedite common template tasks, and hosted a two day seminar on Photoshop and Painter for lab customers.
January 2000 - 2003, Professional Photographers of America, Inc., Atlanta Georgia. A team member of the Digital and Advanced Technologies Committee. The committee organizes convention talent for the technology segment of the association as well as selecting specialized programming for their niche markets. The committee is also responsible for the digital trade show and digital cafes at the national convention & outline and organization of educational offerings and demonstrations, theater style presentations and mentoring association members.
January 1999 - 2003, Marathon Press, Norfolk NE. The largest pre press printing supplier to professional portrait and wedding photographers. Part of the development and educational team for their studio Marketing Value Programs and their Internet based Marketing Partnership Plan. Jane creates and facilitates web and CD based educational materials for their marketing workshops and lectures for the company at conventions throughout the United States. She is also part of the creative team of brainstorming practical and profitable ways of showing and selling images with emerging technologies.
January 1997 - 2003, Art Leather Manufacturing Company, Elmhurst, New York. The largest supplier of professional albums and folios in the portrait / wedding industry. Project Coordinator and developer of the 21st Century Studio, an industry education and communication forum focused on practical applications of studio digital technology. Researches new technology, networks Art Leather with other progressive companies to develop compatible software programs at the studio level. Also designs specifics for upgrades on their Montage software, a multi task functional program to show and sell portrait and wedding photography, while compiling customer data, invoicing, wholesale / retail price lists, copyright labels, color lab orders, and Art Leather product orders.
Spring 1998, Canon, Long Island, New York. Consultant on consumer software bundled with their consumer digital cameras. Jane developed a training program for their national reps on what consumers can do with the enclosed software and presented training sessions at their International Sales Meeting.
